Hi Steve, thanks for your words of encouragement. I too read that same scripture yesterday concerning Rebekah and I had to stop to consider how far she went to help someone in need. The Pot she had to carry the water were not like the light plastic things we have now, they were made of clay and probably a little heavy without the water in, yet she carried and filled it again and again until the camels and the stranger had had their full. I was reminded of how God carries us in our times of need and how willing, like Rebekah to not stop until we are full. We serve a Great God who is willing to provide for us along our journey. God bless you and the family
Thank you for that encouragement, Steve. It's easy to fall prey to those negative thoughts at times. I am often reminded - Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men...
God bless you & your family x May 2025 be a year abounding in His Grace xx
Thanks, Steve. A good encouragement, in case anyone wanted to stay in bed this year! The temptation is no doubt there, but as you say, there's a job to do...and we know the enemy never sleeps. But neither does our God (eg Psalm 121). What's more, we're not alone, and together - globally - we remain a permanently awake Body to do God's will 24/7.

May I say that the name "liar" does not merit a capital "L'" - he is is lower case - as befits his character. Only JESUS is worthy of capitals!
Not a criticism, just an observation!
Your messages are always such an encouragement - thank you!
Thanks Steve ever the encourager,
We should be pleased to daily do God's work and show others his light and love
